The SMM Parish May Crowning will take place on Sunday, May 4th, at the 10:30 AM Mass. Children, families, and parishioners are invited to bring flowers and join the procession to crown Our Lady.
The entire Church mourns the death of our Holy Father, Pope Francis. In the coming days, Masses will be offered for the repose of his soul in churches throughout the world. Communities and individuals will ask God to bestow his infinite mercy on the man who served the Church as the Bishop of Rome.

On Good Friday is St. Mary Magdalen's Way of the Cross Annual Walk visiting nine historic churches from Uptown to Downtown. The Group from St. Mary Magdalen will begin at St. Stephen's Church on Napoleon Avenue . Anyone wanting to join in should meet with Wayne Guy at 7:45am in front of the St Stephens to begin the 5.3 mile journey. All books will be provided. Streetcar or Public Service bus can return you to St. Stephen’s about noon.

On Thursday, April 3, 2025, Archbishop Aymond conferred the Sacrament of Confirmation on thirty-three high school students from St. Mary Magdalen Parish, Our Lady of Divine Providence Parish, and St. Therese Academy.
