SMM graduate and CYO member, Lauren Nash has been selected to receive the St. Timothy Award. The St. Timothy Award is the highest award the Archdiocese of New Orleans can bestow upon a young person. This is a national award which seeks to recognize outstanding youth who exemplify Christian service, Catholic leadership and good moral standards. The youth who receive this award are not only outstanding in their church parish, but also in the larger archdiocesan community. These individuals have displayed high ideals and have grown spiritually while offering their time and talents in the service of the church parish and the community at large. Congratulations Lauren and thank you for your service to our parish!

Camp Cards are an on-line discount program similar to that of “Entertainment Books”. There are thousands of discounts that can be used all over the U.S. Thank you for your support!
Our CYO had a great day at WYD! Our participants were uplifted with words and song by great speakers on the theme - PRICELESS. 2,000 young people from the New Orleans area participated in this spiritual day which ended with a Mass with Archbishop Aymond, con-celebrated by our own Father Chris! Thanks to our KC's who gave a generous donation to help pay for the registration costs for the day!
Congratulations to our scouts - six rank advancements, two Eagle palms, 44 merit badges, Solar Eclipse patches, and numerous special awards, such as NOA Camping and Aquatics, Pro-Marksman, and Mile Swim.
