As St. Mary Magdalen prepares to celebrate Respect Life month in October, we are refreshing the Pro-Life Corner of the Church. The Children’s Corner bookcase will be removed, and the children’s books will be relocated to a basket in the corner of the chapel near the stairwell entrance, with more changes to take place over the coming weeks. Please bear with us as we redesign and refocus this portion of our church to bear witness to Christ’s message of love for one another.

A Parent Meeting and Registration for PSR will take place on Monday, August 21, 2022, at 6:30 pm in the church. The SMM Parish School of Religion is open to all students (grades 1‐10) enrolled in public and non- Catholic private schools for the 2023‐2024 academic year.
St. Mary Magdalen will not be conducting a fall session of Alpha this year due to the construction work being done in the Discipleship Center. Look for the next Alpha session to begin in January 2024.
On Sunday, October 15, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Louis Cathedral Church, the Most Rev. Gregory M. Aymond, Archbishop of New Orleans, will celebrate the 2023 Annual Archdiocesan Mass for Victims and Survivors of Violence.

Starting Aug 2 St Mary Magdalen Adult Faith Formation Ministry is hosting a 5 week book study on Wednesday evenings from 6:30PM to 8PM in the Discipleship Center. Dates are Aug 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30.
